Home screen

This is the application home screen. Users can:

  • Scan the QR code of the ticket received from the valet.
  • Enter the ticket code manually.

View their ticket history.

Scan ticket

After scanning a QR code or after choosing to ‘Enter Code’ the user is taken to this screen. If a QR code has been scanned, the code will show up; if not, the user must enter it manually.

Confirm request

This is the confirmation screen. Users may check if the ticket number corresponds with the ticket stub handed to them by the valet, and confirm the request or cancel the request.

Initial estimation screen

This is the initial estimation screen. If users desire their car faster, they can opt to be placed in the priority queue and get their car faster.

Regular queue pay screen

This is the regular queue pay screen, users may use cash to pay the parking fee (this is the parking fee for some locations) and the valet tip.

Confirm priority queue request

Users are asked to confirm the priority queue request. Payment for this is done only by credit card.

Priority queue pay screen

This is the priority queue pay screen. Priority queue requests can only be paid with credit card.

Credit card payment

After the user selects the credit card option, he is taken to the credit card pay screen.

Priority queue car delivery

This is the priority queue estimation screen.

Regular queue car delivery

This is the regular queue estimation screen. Users may still opt to join the priority queue.

The following screens depict the priority queue option. If this is available the Join the Priority Queue button is displayed.

Ticket history

This is the user’s history of requests.

Log in

Before starting, valets must log into the application. Valets will obtain credentials from their valet company manager or the SpotValet support staff.

Start work

After logging in users must tap the Start Work button to start their shift. The valet will not be able to park cars and retrieve them if the shift is not started.

Home screen

This is the application home screen. Valets can:

  • Get car: When clients request their cars, the requests will show up in the Get Car section.
  • New car: when clients arrive at the location valets will scan a ticket, give it to the client so he or she can scan it to request the car, and park the car.
  • Take a break: this will prevent them from receiving notifications.
  • End work when their shift is over.
  • Change user, by using the link in the top left corner.

Valet break

After taking a break, valets can either end their shift or return to work. While on a break they will not receive car request notifications.

Enter code

In this screen valets can either scan QR codes, or enter the code manually.

Ticket details

Further details are added to a ticket, such as notes, parking spot, and images (in case the car is damaged images of the damage are recommended).

Ticket is saved

Valets are notified when the ticket is completed and saved.

Car retrieval requests

After cars have been requested they will show up in the Get Car section, the amount of requested cars is displayed in parentheses. Valets will tap the button to retrieve the car.

Valet estimation

When valets answer a car request they must give an estimation in minutes to the requesting user. Ticket notes and images will be visible under the estimation.

Delivering car

Valets have to click Finish when the car is delivered. They cannot perform any other action if they do not click Finish.
